Veterans Services

Rockford Chapter NSDAR collects items and cash for the Veterans Drop-In Center of Rockford.  The Center provides lunch and supper for 15-25 veterans Monday through Friday.  The center offers TV, board games, computers and conversation seven days a week. 

Items for the kitchen such as paper plates, napkins, plastic eating ware, coffee and coffee creamer are collected and taken to the Center.  The chapter also has collected money to pay for the repair of a ceiling fan and the recent purchase of several large garbage cans.  ​Assisting the Center has been an on-going project of the Veterans Services committee.
